Editorial standards
TechCortex is an independent technology news site that follows the industry all day. This page explains how we put our stories together and the rules we follow.
How we report
Our stories are based on official company announcements, manufacturer and developer sources, official documentation and reporting from reputable news organisations. When another outlet breaks a story, we credit it. Every story is written in our own words with the context readers need. We use automation and AI tools in our newsroom workflow; source selection, accuracy checks and publishing rules follow the standards on this page.
Accuracy and sources
- We only use information that appears in our sources or is well established.
- Unconfirmed claims and leaks are clearly labelled as such.
- Prices, release dates and versions can change; we note that they reflect the situation at publication.
- Whenever possible we link to primary sources at the end of a story.
Independence
We do not publish sponsored content and we never accept payment for coverage. Advertising on the site is kept separate from our journalism and does not influence it.
Errors and corrections
If you spot a mistake, write to us through the Contact page. We review every report, fix confirmed errors as quickly as possible and update the story's modified date.
Markets content
Our market pages and stock reports are compiled automatically from delayed data. They are for information only and are not investment advice.
